Gouda Red is aged for six months inside its protective, wax encasing. Its interior is warm-yellow in color and is filled with many small holes. It has a mild flavor of rich caramel with hints of nuts, and its texture is smooth and creamy. Try it on fruits or melt it between bread for an exquisite grilled cheese sandwich.
