This zesty "Swiss" cheese, which is more accurately called emmental, is actually from France. Some of the world's purest water runs from the French Alps into the nearby dairy farm fields where milk for Frantal French Swiss is collected. This superb milk is ripened in 180-pound wheels and is sliced into four-pound blocks. Its flavor profile can be sweet and buttery with earthy, nutty accents.
